A passenger aboard a Jet Airways flight from Dammam in Saudi Arabia to Kochi in India on Sunday reportedly gave birth to a baby boy as she went into premature labour on the plane.
A trained paramedic, who was fortunately on board, helped the passenger, Jose, deliver the baby. The flight had to be diverted to Mumbai as the passenger needed to be immediately taken to a hospital.
Jet Airways has offered the free lifetime pass to the baby because he is the first child to be born on the airlines’ flight.
