Ajith's Yennai
Arindhaal was officially confirmed as a Pongal release a couple of days
back, and the final date is still being speculated. Thursday, January
8th is the most probable date which is being buzzed in trade circles and
in the online space.
'Thala'
is meanwhile not new to Pongal releases and in his illustrious career
till date, he has had quite a few of them. After 2000, the period in
which he emerged as a mass hero, the Pongal releases that Ajith has had

2006 - Paramasivan
2007 - Aalwar

2015 - Yennai Arindhaal
Among
these films, Dheena and Veeram emerged as wholesome successes and with
Yennai Arindhaal, the team would be eyeing another such hit.
