Kazakhstan plane crash: Bek Air plane comes down near Almaty airport

Almaty: A plane with 95 passengers and five crew members on board crashed near the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan on Friday (Dec 27), killing at least 15 people, authorities in the Central Asian nation said.
The Bek Air plane was heading for the capital, Nur-Sultan, and "lost altitude during takeoff and broke through a concrete fence" before hitting a two-storey building, Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Committee said in a statement.
At least 14 people were killed, and 22 have been hospitalised in grave condition, the Almaty mayor’s office said.
The plane was taking off before dawn. A Reuters reporter travelling to the airport said there was thick fog in the area.

Scoot moves to Changi Airport's Terminal 1 from Oct 22!

Changi terminal 1 depature hall



From 22 Oct 2019, 0000hrs, all Scoot flights arrive at Terminal 1. All Scoot flights depart from Terminal 1 from 22 Oct 2019, 0515hrs onwards.



Scoot's 1st departure from Terminal 1 will be TR100 SIN to CAN at 22OCT2019 0515hrs & the 1st Arrival will be KIX to SIN via KHH at 22OCT2019 0015hrs.


Scoot's check-in counters at Changi Airport's Terminl 1 will be located at rows 5 to 7 on the departure level.
Improved features include automated check-in kiosks and bag-drop machines at the departure hall, expansion of the meeters and greeters hall at the arrival level, as well as the integration of the terminal with Jewel Changi Airport.

Changi Airport has undertaken upgrading works in T1 over the past five years to expand the passenger handling capacity, with the departure hall featuring automated check-in kiosks and bag-drop machines.
