TNPSC Examination for Assistant Conservator of Forests 19/2014

Applications are invited only through online mode upto 15.10.2014 for Direct Recruitment to the vacancies in the following Post included in Combined Civil Services – I Group-IA Service Examination:-

Assistant Conservator of Forests (Tamil Nadu Forest Service)

 Vacancies -  2

Grade pay - Rs.15,600-39,100/- + G.P Rs.5400/- (PB-3)

Distribution of vacancies:-

                               MBC/DC(W) - 1
                               BC(W) - 1

Educational Qualification:-
Candidates should possess any one of the following or its equivalent qualification awarded by an University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission on the date of this Notification viz., 19.09.2014.

Note:
1. The subject mentioned above should have been taken as the main subject for the Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Provided that in the case of Graduates with Mathematics or Statistics, they must have taken one of the following subjects in their P.U.C. or H.S.C. or Matriculation or equivalent examination, namely:-
(i) Biology (ii) Physics (iii) Chemistry
3. Provided further that, other things being equal, preference shall be given to candidates who possess a degree in Forestry or a Post Graduate Degree in Wild Life Biology.
4. In the selection of Engineering Graduates (Mechanical, Civil or Chemical), other things being equal, preference shall be given to those who have undergone one year of Apprenticeship under the Government of India Scheme or one year of training under the State Government Apprenticeship Scheme.
5. The qualifications ordered equivalent to the prescribed qualification are indicated in annexure to this notification. (Refer also to the disclaimer annexed to the notification)
6. The qualification prescribed for this post should have been obtained by passing the required
qualification in the order of studies 10th + HSC + U.G degree

4. A Bachelor’s Degree in Physics
